| Precision Blasting provided blasting services through a subcontract arrangement with Drilling Contract Services and CS Beatty Construction. This was a high security level site and in close proximity to existing structures. The job consisted of replacing coal fueled units with natural gas units. The new units will produce enough electricity to power 625,000 homes. All blasting that took place had to be closely coordinated through Georgia Power officials and the general contractor. The blasting was successfully completed with no incidents or vibration issues. |
